Privacy Policy

Renovation Helper ("this application") is a private, non-commercial software tool built for personal use by its two authorized users to plan, organize, and track a home renovation project — including saved inspiration images, linked reference videos, and project budget and expense tracking. It is not a public product, is not available to the general public, and is not monetized in any way.

Who can use this app

Access is restricted to exactly two named individuals via Cloudflare Access. No one else can sign in or view any content, and there is no public sign-up.

What data this app accesses and stores

• Inspiration content from connected third-party services: Renovation Helper can connect to third-party platforms to import content the two users have already saved elsewhere, for easier browsing in one place. Currently this includes the Pinterest API, used strictly read-only to fetch the pins (image URLs, titles, descriptions, and links) on one specific board belonging to the app owner's own Pinterest account. Renovation Helper never posts, modifies, or deletes anything on a connected platform, and never accesses any content beyond what the owner has explicitly configured.
• Links you add directly: URLs to external content (for example, reference video links) that either user pastes into the app. Renovation Helper stores the URL and any title/note you give it; it does not scrape, download, or otherwise process the linked platform's data beyond displaying that link back to you.
• Project data you enter directly: star/favorite marks, ratings, comments, budget figures, and expense entries created by the two users within the app.
• From Cloudflare Access: the authenticated email address of whichever of the two users is currently logged in, used only to attribute the entries above (e.g. "who left this comment" or "who logged this expense") to the correct person.

How this data is used

All of the above is used solely to help the two authorized users plan, browse, discuss, and track their own renovation project within this app. Nothing is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond this app's core function.

Data sharing

None. Data collected or entered in this app is never sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party, and is not visible to anyone outside the two authorized users.

Data storage and retention

Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database associated with this application. It is retained until the app's owner deletes it (e.g. by deleting the database or the app itself), which can happen at any time.

Cookies

This app itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Access, which gates sign-in, sets its own authentication cookie required to keep you signed in; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on that service.
